Al’s got some old Popular Mechanics and Popular Science magazines from the 40′s and 50′s, he thought I’d like these ads and scanned them for me. Very cool, love the illustrations, and as Al mentioned the copy is even better! Thanks Al.

Wasn’t sure when I’d use my seat, it’s a little wider than the 9X13s, so it might be just the right size for the WL. Thinking how to make the colors work, this is part of my therapy fun.

Convenience Store

Lawson, I remember being in Osaka over a decade ago, losing rocks, paper and scissor shortly after arriving and having to walk in the middle of the night, not knowing where I was going to the convenience store to get the next round. Convenience stores in Japan are something else. Too bad I didn’t see bikes like this though at that time.

Seems like ages ago. I keep thinking that 2 years has passed but it will be 2 years this coming March. I’ve posted very similar shots to this already, these are just ever so slightly different angles. I feel the excitement all over again, what was I thinking . . .

I’m hot on 45s now, but this has got to be one of my favorite bikes of all time. Kiyo’s Knuckle, from Garage Company, LA. I was looking all over for shots of this bike, not sure why I didn’t go to the Garage Company site until tonight. There are more photos there. I’ve downloaded and posted enough here, go to their site to see a lot more cool stuff.
