Some things are meant to be

Jason always seems to be in the right place at the right time when it comes to getting bikes and parts. Everyone could be looking at a wall of parts and for some reason Jason will see things that we don’t. Bikes seem to find him. Well it happened again this weekend while I was in New York, I had a feeling that it would. Jason and I exchanged a bunch of texts before I left on Friday about this bike. Here are some pics of his latest addition to the family and details in his words – “41 el knucklehead after 12 years of storage , got it from torontos beaches from a 70 year old gentelman, god wanted me to have it, got it running with damon in less than an hour”. Amazing! I have yet to see this in person. Planning to drop by soon. Jason, check it out too, this is post #812 on the blog, add em up, it was meant to be.

Back from New York

Took a crazy hectic bus tour from Toronto to New York over the long weekend. Spent more time on the bus getting there and back. Crossing the border was insane. Anyway, the energy in New York is awesome. Didn’t see too much but did enjoy my visit to Soho. Glad to be back home. . . need to catch up.

Cool stuff from Al

Al did a little clean up of his garage and shared a couple photos with me. Looks nice and neat. In the process he dug up this Bates P-pad and wicked book. He mentioned that he’d send along some more scans from it when he has a chance, he posted some of it on JJ some years ago. Thanks Al.
