Mike worked all day long. I'm glad I caught him for a moment while I had a chance. His bike is looking awesome. miked3.jpg miked1.jpg Mike grabbing some goodies from people all over the world to give away. miked2.jpg

Born Free 2 - Familar faces

A few of shots of some familar faces. Just too much going on! No way to capture even close to 10% in the amount of time. bf_faces_2.jpg bf_faces_3.jpg bf_faces_1.jpg bf_faces_4.jpg bf_faces_5.jpg bf_faces_6.jpg bf_faces_7.jpg bf_faces_8.jpg bf_faces_9.jpg bf_faces_10.jpg bf_faces_11.jpg

Born Free 2 - Harpoon

Funny what technology does, when it works its fantastic. When I arrived at the show the first person I chatted with was Harpoon. It's like I knew what he was up to just by checkin' the blogs. His bike is awesome. Motor just rebuilt by Bacon. More photos to follow, taking off to check out LA a bit before flying home to Toronto on the redeye. This pic starts to give you an idea of how crowded the show started to get. I'm small and I'm wedged between 2 bikes, probably the only free space left! harpoon1.jpg

Born Free 2 - Wil's bikes

I have to admit, I felt like a bit of a stalker shooting photos of people and their bikes as they rolled in. If anyone wants anything removed just email me! I love Wil's bike. I caught some shots as he rode in before it started getting really busy. wilsbikes3.jpg wilsbikes1.jpg Tanks done by Kiyo from Garage Company. Wil mentioned he's just going enjoy this bike now and keep it as is for the time being. wilsbikes2.jpg Both his bikes together. wilsbikes4.jpg

Born Free 2 - Show day

What can I say. The show was great. I got there at 9:00 am or so thinking to help out. But the Born Free team had everything under control already. There was already quite a few bikes there and more coming every minute. By noon time the official show time the place was jammed. I had a chance to see a lot of the bikes I drool over in blogland and meet some of the people behind them. Everyone was super cool. There were people from all over the world. Here's a peak at some of the shots I took. I tended to gravitate towards the bikes that have inspired me, like this, Mark Drews pan. Thanks to the Born Free team for the great hospitality, food, drinks and bikes, all for free! Lots of posts to come over the next few days! bf_markdrews3.jpg bf_markdrews1.jpg bf_markdrews2.jpg

Born Free 2 - Home

For the next 2 days this is home. Not much of a party person, I've seen a few of the crews here already, hope to see them at the show tomorrow. Everybody's bikes are looking good. It feels like an earth quake here with the crews blasting by! home1.jpg

Born Free 2 - Garage Company, thanks Yoshi and Kiyo

My directions aren't the best so I was a little nervous grabbing a rental car myself and getting around town in LA. I lucked out though, Garage Company is really close to LAX. I've wanted to go check have a look even more after I heard they moved to this new bigger location. Yoshi and Kiyo, thanks for the hospitality and letting my stick around late. See you guys at the show tomorrow. garage_company_card1.jpg Kiyo's knuckle is awesome. He's a really humble guy who puts together some killer bikes. garagecompany1.jpg Famous wall of lids. garagecompany2.jpg True WR tanks! Yoshi has 2 sets. Treasures! garagecompany4.jpg garagecompany3.jpg More to come for the next few weeks on this visit to Garage Company. I took many pics. Make sure to drop by if you are in LA, you won't be disappointed.

Born Free 2 - On the way

Ever since I was a kid i've loved to go the the airport. Early start to the day to get out to LA. Toronto > Detroit > LA. pearson1.jpg pearson2.jpg Fueling up, I was thinking about how many tanks I would have needed for my bike to do what this one tank could do. pearson3.jpg View out the window to Detroit. pearson4.jpg View out the window to LA. pearson5.jpg
