Awesome to see someone with a real good sense of humor having a good time with his bikes. Check out some out takes of Milo’s 45 from his DicE shoot. Better yet get DicE and see all the photos.
From my brain to the screen – Plans for my 45

Ok, so I borrowed an awesome photo of Matt Olsen’s1952 WR build and used it as a base to get a visual out of my brian. The photo was taken by Joseph Emmett Mielke Photography (www.bigjoephoto.com), a bunch of awesome shots there if you are looking for more. I’ve been staring at all of them for over a year now! I like to try to stick to a focus and an end goal with the understanding that things will change as the bikes usually end up building themselves. But with a plan in hand, at least I can channel all my resources and time towards a target. I’ve got most of these parts or equivalents now. Still working out some details in my head before bringing the last bits to Jason’s place. If anyones got a line on a WR seat and pad let me know. Second photo here is some photoshopping, my parts are a lot more weathered but this is where it’s going . . . when I look at the lines on the original it’s really hard to beat the way this bike came out originally.
JPRC – For Mark

Jason did one of his JPRC wide springers and also hardtailed and shortened up the wheel base of a frame for Mark who is going to run a shovelhead motor. Will have that nice tight hook now. Give Jason a shout if you need his expertise.

I can’t believe I haven’t run over to the shop to see this in person. Jason’s newest bike, a 80″ Flathead, he’s waiting on a set of original fenders and will be switching out the wheels for 36-39 step hub stuff and with some luck he’ll grab a speedo and be riding this soon. The bigtwin flatties are my favorite motor.

. . . are the ones you never expected to get. I got my Ironhead as a basket project bike at the CNE swap a few years ago. Was super happy at the time, the seller said he had more parts to give to me and would see me at the next swap several months later. I didn’t really think too much about it but of course wanted to see if anything would be passed to me. So a few months pass and I see the seller at the next meet. He passes over the ford spare tire ring for my rear fender and the small bates p-pad to me, unexpected, love it!
