Might be the last ride this year

Getting really cold here in TO. Bike sitting in front of the garage, probably last ride for a bit. hon_bike_back1.jpg

Seat springs snapped!

My seat springs snapped, I'm a small dude so I had the seat pushed up forward a little too much and the springs had a lot of angle on them. Looks like they snapped at the mounts. Got another set here, going to ease the seat back alittle so that the springs are more upright and don't take load on a weird angle. springs_bates1.jpg For fun, I set the Bates seat on it. Nice and meaty, didn't look too bad but the colors clash, so the black seat will be going back on tomorrow. springs_bates2.jpg

Last shots of my bike at JPRC for a while

I think I got the kick start procedure down today. Some final bending of the kickstand helped keep the bike stable for me. Bike sounds great, last thing to do next spring will be to clean up the wires and cables a bit. Great feeling thinking to have the bike back at home soon. goinghome1.jpg goinghome3.jpg goinghome2.jpg

All done

Still pinching myself. Bike is all done, coming home with me soon. A few shots just before riding it, Jason putting on some final bolts. Just want to clean up the brake lines, wiring and cabling, but that can wait. alldone1.jpg alldone31.jpg alldone2.jpg

My bar enterprises seat

Nothing fancy but pretty well made, was really rusted out when I got it. Cleaned up nice. Makes a nice combo with the p-pad rolled up now. No worries about sliding back. barenterprises1.jpg

What a rush!

Almost two years in the making . . . can't describe this feeling. Stills from my crappy video cam! Thanks Daymon for catching the moment! riding5.jpg riding6.jpg riding7.jpg riding8.jpg

Second Life

Here it is, in it's second version this year. Thanks to Zac for getting it to the point as seen in DicE27 and now Jason at JPRC for the second life! They warned me, these projects never end! hon_second1.jpg hon_second31.jpg hon_second21.jpg

New bars

I loved my old bars. This set feels more comfortable for riding and opens up the front of the bike. barsv2.jpg syndicategrip21.jpg Wasn't sure what type of mirror to run, but knew I wanted one for safety in the city. Jason dug up this bitchin' little rounded rectangular deal. barsv31.jpg syndicategrip1.jpg These grips looked like they weren't going on 1 inch bars, a little wd40 and a rubber mallet did the trick.
