Progress

This is a really big step ahead for me. OEM 45 springer with BT rockers. Was considering repop for a number of reasons, but picked this up from Jason. It's really a sickness, but one that I don't want to end! I'm glad this part has now joined the family. Now I've got to some important things to take care off, looking forward to the next time I can update the blog with "Progress". wl_springer_1 wl_springer_2

Look what walked in the door

Jason's buddy had this cool Bates seat on his Honda Chop in the 70's, wasn't into it and stored it and now passed it on to Jason since he know that Jason's into parts like this. Very cool thing to do. bates_seat_1 bates_seat_2

72 Survivor - back to the way it was in 78

Jason mocked up the 1972 Swing Arm Shovel with the parts it came with. O.k. it's not the best looking bike but you have to appreciate it for what it is, it's like looking back into history. Jason is going to get it running soon, another successful rescue! 72_mockup5 72_mockup1 72_mockup3 72_mockup4 72_mockup2

Nice execution

First off, I apologize, not sure whose photo this is please let me know if it's yours. It's from the the Brooklyn Invitational. I'm usually into pretty plain looking bars, but it's cool to see someone's vision when it's executed well. These are neat. 5013313118_233ce6c3a5_b

Technology

It's really changed the way we do things. I'm not a phone type of guy to begin with, but the convenience of text can be really useful. Here's Jason answering one of his many texts he receives during the day. I probably reach him more like this than via phone, but really, it's like the the same thing to me now. texting_1

Looks like this is an image of what the Born Free 3 Knuckle is going to look like. Love the artwork by Adam Nickel. rough11a
