First time on a "Real Halfpipe"

My wife surprised me with a vert lesson today. Yes lesson, I've been thinking of riding a real half pipe now for more than 20 years. Today was the first time in my 36 years of life. I didn't want to get hurt and wanted to get off on a good foot. Pretty intimidating ramp for your first crack at transitions. Awesome fun, very humbling. I have a lot of work ahead of me. I was running Bones SPF's, they seemed way slippery on the "ecolite" surface at CJ's skatepark. I kept slipping out on the transition. Not like the local concrete skatepark. I think I need to find my sweet spot. A sick ramp, I must go back soon!
