Shiny or not shiny

As much as I don't want to clean up some nicely patina-ed parts, I always find myself giving the parts I come across a little wipe down. I like to see what's underneath, not restoring a part but at least cleaning it up, so I can put my own miles on it. Anyone follow me, any thoughts? hon_parts_-1 hon_parts_-2 hon_parts_-3 hon_parts_-4

I know how you feel. I am always in the middle. (Clean up a bit or leave it rough?)
By the way, keep up the good work! I enjoy your pictures, and the close up shots.

I hear you! I like a bike to be clean enough to not look trashy but still look used with a story to tell.
