Kiyo - "Sick Nick's" 65 Pan

Kept in touch with Kiyo at Garage Company, he sent me some photos of his latest build. It's awesome. Sick Nick's 65 Pan. Kiyo did the motor, tranny, fab and assembly. It turned out amazing! Here's Kiyo's own words: "this bike is my customer's "sick nick's" dream bike. i`m so glad he loves this bike. we really had fun to build this, he came to shop once a week for 6~7 month. last 2 months, everyday....., he had a lot of ideas that i didn`t want to do. but when done, he was happiest guy in the world, and he said " sick ", maybe ten times. i thought he is sick....anyway, finally we finished bike. i love this bike and good luck lovely sick nick!!!" - Kiyo Everyone knows this tank, Nick got it from Yaniv at Powerplant, Kiyo didn't know the exact details. Love Cycles - Brian's Pan

Imagine landing in LA, driving straight to Garage Company to spend a few hours, then driving over to your hotel and seeing this bike pull through the parking lot and blast out onto Willow Street!! My mind was blown. Glad to have had a chance to see this ride up close. Jeremiah at Love Cycles killed it again. Pics stolen from his blog.

Jeff's 38 UL

Just got the new Street Chopper, the mag is feeling good, it's like blogland in my hands. It brought back flashes of Born Free for me. Jeff's UL was awesome, it was there early and in the clear but I lost my composure from sensory overload and only snapped a few shots with pretty sad framing. Anyway, this is one of my favs at the moment for sure.

Swap meet mags

Al and I split a box of mags at the last swap. Really cool stuff. Late 60's to mid 70's stuff. Just soaking it in.

First post from phone

Wicked, finally upgraded the blog to take posts from my phone! Not so nice, but for emergencies it will do great!

Junk Motor Seat Pan

Had a chance to get up close to one of the Junk Motor Seat pans at Garage Company. Very nice. Definitely consider one if I was going the pogo route.

Staying safe - leather jacket

Got a deal with the family to always wear something protective when riding. So on these hot days I've still got at the very least a leather jacket of some kind on and gloves for sure. It's hot, but safer.

Broken lever

The broken lever in the pic is the one that tried to remove Jason's finger a little while ago, blood still on it! Glad you made it out o.k. buddy. Jason has all sorts of stuff kicking around the shop. Unidentifiable brass object Jason got, and some stickers I passed along to him as well.

Please Officer, gimme a break

Bad luck today. I have better luck on 2 wheels than 4 :(.
